Review-
Thumbs up-
●Set in Varanasi the story focuses on the struggles and the tough decisions that an adolescent faces in his or her life. This book does a great job in outlining every tough phase in a precise manner.
●The book's perspective of achievement of goals using guidance, strategy and a structured approach is noteworthy.
●The love angle shown between Shlok and Natasha is also very realistic. The budding childhood romance and blossoming of love in the time hardships is very much relatable.
Thumbs down-
◆The book although successfully delivers its perspectives regarding a turbulent adolescent phase, the title of the book loses it's significance.
◆The story became a bit monotonous with the daily routines of Shlok. Thus, some of the informations could have been excluded to relieve the readers of this monotonicity.
Personal Views-
Sunshine Town is the story a youth who suffered through the phase of adolescence would definitely relate to.Hence, I feel this story may even serve as an inspiration to them.
